I Love Krogering ... Know Why?

...... because there is a Yarn Store near it.... Actually, it's in the same Center as Kroger's is. Anyway... I stopped in to see what yarns are on special this week. :-) It's a JoAnn's Yarns & Crafts Store. Then in Hamilton we have a Lambikin's... I haven't been there for a bit though. Anyway... I bought 5 skeins of Wool Ease ( Worsted Weight )... Its a Heathered Evergreen color. It has little specks of blue turquoise in it. Very pretty!!!
I think I'll plan a trip to Hamilton...;-) And THINK is the operative word.

  1. Danger Will Robinson!!!!!!! No yarn shopping would be complete w/o a trip to the grocery store. We had Kroger up here when I was a little girl...I wish we had it up here again...Giant Eagle is what we have and there isn't a yarn store
    in the same complex...oh well...

  2. Good Morning Faith!

I wish we had MORE yarn stores then just the JoAnn Yarn store. They are good... But you can use more variety on yarns.
When we go on vacations... " He looks for places similar to Bass Pro Shop on the way to where the vacation spot is, and I look for different yarn shops."... ;-)

  4. Hi Pammy Sue!

Im thinking about Christmas Presents! Our son loves that color. So I'll make something for him. He wants a bed cover. So it could be a bed spread or blanket. :-) But when I get started on it, I'll get a picture of it on here. :-) ( I just hope he doesn't read my blog and find out about it. LOL ) But I doubt very much if he does.

Right this minute I'm watching CNN. Obama is answering questions from people 50 yrs. or older about Health Care. So far I think he is full of it. ( Just My Opinion )

  5. Just got back from Jo-Ann's myself. Bought some Bernat Handicrafter cotton yarn on sale in nice fall colors, and picked up a free pattern sheet for a shopping bag.

  7. Good Morning!
As soon as I get a new picture card for my camera so I can get pictures of what I bought & what I'm working on to show you.
But for the moment, you'll just have to "ENVISION " a Purple Waffle Throw. ;-)
