Time To Post...:-)

Hi!

I know... It's time to sit down and post. How about a few thoughts? I got an e-mail from a friend... In it she had something called "Universal Thoughts".

One of the thoughts :

How the hell do you fold a FITTED SHEET? And I thought... I bet a LOT people ask that to themselves. When I take our sheets out of the dryer, that fitted sheet is always the last one I fold. And it always turns out messy.

Another thought was:

I take back all of those time when my parents said to take a nap and I said I didn't need one. WOW... I bet a LOT of people would like to take back those NAP TIMES..LOL

And I LOVE this one.:

" Can't we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blu Ray? I don't want to Re Start my collection...AGAIN!!!

I so AGREE with that. I don't want to buy the same movies in a different format...AGAIN!!!First you have VHS Tapes... Then You Had Plain DVD's... NOw you have Blue Ray Disc.. It gets expensive and Blu Ray is good enough!!! Don't you think so?

And here is one that always made me wonder if Map Quest loves writing directions TOO MUCH.

" Map Quest really needs to start their directions on #5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of our neighborhood."

That's about it for the Universal Thoughts. They are all funny... but those are the ones that made me laugh and think... " Yeah... I know what you mean."

The Reds Lost today by 1 point. We played the Atlanta Braves. But we WON yesterday.

Have a Great Night!!!

Gloomy Day.. So I Read...:-)

Good Evening!!!

I just FINISHED reading a great book. It's called " FULL CIRCLE" by Danielle Steel... Yes... I HIGHLY recommend it to all.

It's so gray and gloomy out. Tomorrow is suppose to be the same. So I'm trying to make the best of it and just do stuff inside. Like cleaning out the freezer. Reading. And I had to bring my Jasmine inside. It gets cool at night and I don't think Jasmine is suppose to be in cool weather.

I'm listening to the Red's Game!!! Sounds like we're winning!!! ( So Far)

It's about bedtime...

GREAT BOOK!!!

Hi!

I have a great book for you!!!

It's called " The Lost Hours " by Karen White.

It was so hard to put down. But I had to in order to get Supper Ready etc. But I neded up going right back to it.

I found a great synopsis for it, but everything I want to copy and paste onto here refuses to be pasted. Does anyone know what's happening?

The story is historical. The author takes the story from real life. A girl ( Piper Mills ) who is hurt when riding a horse . When she is 12 she helps her Grandpa bury her Grandma's box of little treasures and the box has not been touched since. Now she is older ( 20's )... Her Grandpa has passes away... And her Grandma is in a nursing home... Piper has inherited her Grandparents OLD house in Savannah. ( By the way, Piper's parents have been killed when she was 12... Her Grandparents raised her.)

Trust me... It's good if you Mystery & History...

Knitting & Driving

Good Afternoon!!!

Not too much much going on today. It sure is warming up though!!! A little too much if you ask me. I don't care much for the 80's and up.

I finished reading my book by Jodi Piccoult. " Handle With Care ". It was good story. A lot of it was sad though. The ending hurt... but all in all... the story itself was good.

PRICELESS...:-)

Good Morning!!!

I don't have too much to write a long post... but I do want to share this with everyone...:-)

" Priceless!!!!!

A beautiful fairy appeared one day to a destitute refugee outside an Arizona immigration office.

'Good man,' the fairy said, 'I've been sent here by President Obama and told to grant you three wishes, since you just arrived in the United States withyour wife and eight children.'

The man told the fairy. 'Well, where I come from we don't have good teeth, so I want new teeth, maybe a lot of gold in them.' The fairy looked at the man's almost toothless grin and -- PING ! -- he had a brand new shining set of gold teeth in his mouth!

'What else?' asked the fairy, 'two more to go.'

The refugee claimant now got bolder. 'I need a big house with a three
car garage in Annapolis on the water with eight bedrooms for my family and the rest of my relatives who still live in my country. I want to bring them all over here . ... . and -- PING ! -- in the distance there could be seen a beautiful mansion with a three car garage, a long driveway, a walkout patio with a BBQ in an upscale neighborhood overlooking the bay.

'One more wish', said the fairy, waving her wand.

'Yes, one more wish. I want to be like an American with American
clothes instead of these torn clothes, and a baseball cap instead of this
sombrero . And I want to have white skin like Americans .. .. and -- PING ! --

The man was transformed, wearing worn out jeans, a Baltimore Orioles
T-shirt and a baseball cap. He had his bad teeth back and the mansion had disappeared from the horizon.
'What happened to my new teeth?' he wailed. 'Where is my new house?'

THIS IS GOOD . . . . . . . ...
NO, ACTUALLY THIS IS VERY GOOD .. . . .. . . .

The fairy said 'Tough, Amigo, Now that you are a White American, you
have to fend for yourself.' "

I like that one... It came in one of our e-mails.

See you later & enjoy the rst of the weekend!!!
