So Far...

Good Afternoon!

...So far no one has come to work on the bathroom today. I guess they are waiting for the " MUD " to dry. we have had a fan running in thr bathroom since yesterday to help dry it.

...In the meantime today... Look what I got. I LOVE the scent of Hyacinth !!! You see this as walk into the house in the front door hall. I got nice closed blooms..:-)

And this is the window between the Kitchen & Dining Room. My husband made that window for me several years ago . I love it! Nice place to display what ever you want.

After Today...

... After Today, It looks Like This...

The electrician seemed to spend hours up in the attic. When he would come back from that attic, he would have sweat rolling down his face. Poor guy...:-(

Yesterday Demolition... Today Remodel..:-)

Good Afternoon !!!

... I now have pictures of what the contractors did today! Take a look...:-)

Here they have some framing up...

... In this one they have drywall up and are starting to put the pocket door in.

My pocket door is working..:-)

I'm not sure yet what they will do tomorrow. But I think a plumber will come and then an electrician.

I forgot to mention that they even started framing the long linen closet which is at the far end of the bathroom. I don't have a good picture lof it yet. I'll wait til it's a bit more along so you can actually what it is..;-)

Demo Before Re Model...

Good Morning!

...Here are some pictures of Hubby & Son doing the demolition of our old walk in closet to make room for our new bathroom.

Michael is taking the LEDGE out of the wall... I'll miss that part. I keep fresh flowers on that. My alarm clock too.

It looks like he's using that chisel on the baseboard to loosen it.

Paul working on taking the framing down from the walk in.

That empty shell of a room you see will become part of the new master bath.

Our original master bath is to the left. You can see the door to it on the left.

The contracter will combine those rooms and make 1 large master bath..:-)

Northern Lights?

Good Rainy Day!

Have you read this?

WASHINGTON (AP) - The largest solar storm in five years has engulfed Earth, but scientists say the planet has lucked out so far.

The storm arrived more peacefully Thursday morning than it could have. Scientists say that could change as the storm spends the day shaking the planet's magnetic field. It could disrupt technology but also spread colorful Northern Lights.

The storm started with a massive solar flare earlier in the week and grew as it raced outward from the sun.

The storm arrived at Earth about 6 a.m. Eastern. So far officials say there have been no reports of problems with power grids, GPS, satellites or other technologies that are often disrupted by solar storms. "

I would love to see the Northern Lights! So we'll be watching.

Stormy Weather...

... I hope this finds everyone safe & sound.... We saw a conglomerate of clouds go over us that had some spin / circulation, but did not touch down... So we're all fine...:-)

... About yesterday and how I felt... I feel much better. You can bet I'll be reading labels before I buy anything!!! I hate that teeny tiny print...:-(

Here are the clouds I told you went over our house... They looked eerie.

Allegra... Do You Take It? * Warning*

...Last night and today, my chest has been so tight. And my mouth is like cardboard. Dry! I take Allegra. I called my pharmacist and asked what milligram/dosage of Allegra was ordered for me BEFORE you had to buy it over the counter. She said 60 mg. Talk about shock when I looked at my over the counter box of Allegra. It was 180 mg. They have 3 different dosages! That is not what their commercial says.

Here it is...

... When they said that you can get it over the counter, I simply went to Kroger and piced up a box of it. They said it's the same as you got from your Dr.

So now I have been taking more then DOUBLE of what my Dr. prescribed. I know I should have looked at the box, but they said it was THE SAME.... I just don't want anyone else feeling the way I do right now.
