This morning I decided to throw the ingredients needed for Beef Stew into the Crock Pot. It smells so good! Then I added some Dry Sherry to boot..:-)
I can't finish my quilt til I get the backing for it. I have the rest though. So in the mean time, I have finished a blanket (crochet) and am now crocheting a soft scarf for the lady who taught me quilting.
My sister has found out that she is still Cancer Free!!! ( She had her Pet Scan) :-) So you can bet she celebrating..:-)
Christmas is getting CLOSER...:-) Are you getting ready for it? Or are you going to be one of those people who SCRAMBLE at the last minute ? :-)

Congratulations on your sister being Cancer free. I sometimes wish I had a Crock-Pot. I almost bought one a few years ago, after watching an infomercial (sp?) about the "Set it and Forget It" cookbook. Lol. I have been thinking about Christmas but I'm trying to get birthdays out of the way first. I can't keep up, lol.. :)
ReplyDeleteSusan I am so happy for your sister!!! Wonderful news!! I am smiling!
ReplyDeleteYour dinner sounds great..I wanted to make something to but had nothing to use for it..maybe sunday I will. Have you used chicken and made a meal with the potatoes, carrots, onions, mushrooms etc? What else have you used in the crock pot?
I am knitting a ribbed scarf, and cross stitching on my sampler.
Have a great week end! What are you doing for it!! Hi to Paul.
Hugs, reina
Thank You Both!!! My youngest sister is doing fine. I'm sure she celebrated last night!!!
