Taste Of Home Cooking School

Hi!

Last night I went to The Taste Of Home Cooking School that was held in Batesville, Indiana... It was FUN!!!
They had LONG LINES in that place to just get in. Luckily, we were FIRST in line... Umm... we got there early on accident... The Taste Of Home website said to be there at 4PM... we got there at 4 PM and they said it didn't start until 5 PM... So we went to eat at Skyline. Looked around that little town. There wasn't too much to do. But the trees had their colors!!! Lovely countryside.

I went there with a friend of mine, Andrea and her Aunt. The lady in the White jacket is the cook/ chef Dana Elliot.

  1. It looks like you all had fun judging by the big smiles on your faces...so you were taught cooking by this chef? How fun!

Thanks for sharing this with us. Happy Sunday :-)

  2. When they were in Logansport, years ago, I went to one of these with friends. Talk about a "jam packed house?" WOW1 I have never been anywhere that had so many women in such a large room . . with just a few men sprinkled in for "good measure."

Sounds like you had as much fun as we had.

Yes... It was fun!!! Dana has been to culinary school etc... si I guess she is a chef. And yes... she is the one who teaches ... She goes through 4 or 5 states here and teaches for Taste Of Home.
