Ruebens!!!
Hi!
...You just lay the Corned Beef flat... put your Swiss Cheese & Sauerkraut on it... Then your dressing. Roll it up... And put in microwave for 25 seconds... YUMMY!!!

...Yesterday, I started craving a Rueben... I have the stuff to make them. But I didn't want to use bread. So... I made these... Rueben Roll Ups!!!

...The first ones I made had the cheese and dressing running out of it... I had it in the microwave too long. So I cut down to 25 seconds.

Almost Done...
... I have been working on the Silver Blue Baby Afghan... It's ALMOST done. I think the skein I'm using right now will be the one to finish it. I'll get a picture of it...
.....It's suppose to storm & have high winds here tomorrow... So I may or may not be able to get on -line. So I'll talk to you again when I can...:-)
...Then I can start on things for ourselves here at home. The baby afghans are for Charity.
...Has anyone eher ever used the yarn that is caled " Pound Of Love "? One of those should make 2 baby afghans. I'm just wondering if it's any good. It's always wrapped in plastic at the stores. So I can't feel it.
...I saw this and had to share it... I got a smile & groan out of it..;-)

Went To Kohls...
...... I went to Kohl's today and EVERYTHING was Christmas... They had about 4 Christmas Trees with Decorations to Buy on them. But it isn't even Thanksgiving yet....
Then I looked at Pajamas there... On the wall they had big soft fleecy looking bed jackets on hangers... Loved them. I don't want a long robe... So it looked perfect... Then I looked below the Bed Jackets... " Matching Pajama pants to the jackets"... Those things "I" called Bed jackets were really Pajama TOPS!!! I would burn up in those things. You know THICK a Sleeping Bag is???? That is how thick these Pajamas were.
You know the lady who is always reading the labels on clothes? I'm sure you see her in the stores. Well, That's Me. I'll touch a piece of clothing to see what it is and I usually end up dropping it back fast. :-( ... It's always acrylic or polyester anymore. Ugh!!! I want Cotton... Or Silk or Bamboo or Merino Wool. Nothing man made. I wish they would bring back natural fibers.
O.K. I'll quit ranting... I guess I'm a material snob ...:-) So lets hear your say on the materials designers use.

Ran Out Of Vanna Silver Blue Yarn... SOOO...
... Here is what I did... Started another Baby Blanket using the same stitch while I wait for the shipment of more of the Silver Blue Yarn to get here so I can finish the first one...
The One I just started... It's much bigger now that I worked on it all last night. It's a TLC BABY Yarn. I haven't used it before. It seems O.K. for a baby Blanket / Afghan. I just wouldn't want it right next to my skin. ...( I want to try a yarn that is Half Merino Wool /Half Silk... That sounds good to me. ) But I need to use up a lot of this acrylic I have first.

Taste Of Home Cooking School
Hi!

Last night I went to The Taste Of Home Cooking School that was held in Batesville, Indiana... It was FUN!!!
They had LONG LINES in that place to just get in. Luckily, we were FIRST in line... Umm... we got there early on accident... The Taste Of Home website said to be there at 4PM... we got there at 4 PM and they said it didn't start until 5 PM... So we went to eat at Skyline. Looked around that little town. There wasn't too much to do. But the trees had their colors!!! Lovely countryside.
I went there with a friend of mine, Andrea and her Aunt. The lady in the White jacket is the cook/ chef Dana Elliot.

Our Son's Birthday Party!
... We went to TumbleWeed Steak House tonight to celebrate 2 birthday's Our son''s and Brother's In Law.
Look What I found...:-)
It's called THE PUFF STITCH. I have a link for it on the right side on my blog if you wish to check it out...:-) Since it takes more yarn... it's a STASH BUSTER!!!

...What do you think of it? Too big for a blanket or afghan??? It's in GRANNY SQUARE style. If it looks sloppy, it's my first try. *** The yarn is darker then it looks here... *** It's really a really a dark chocolate with Steel blue & Rust in it. I'll try and get a bettr one.
