Started Another Tote

These totes are so fun & fast to make.  I'm using the Bengal's material I have left from maing my son a quilt. No pictures yet to share.

But I do have a picture that "I" think is cute. Sissy, our Maltese is a little 7 pound ball of love. I took this picture tonight. She took up the whole couch in the family room by sleeping right in the middle of it.

Thread On My Mind…

Today I have had thread on mind. So many !!!  A friend referred me to … It’s great. A wonderful selection. It turns out that what you despise in fabric is wonderful in thread. Polyester.  Everything you ever wanted to know about thread is on their site.

I have been working on more totes. The first one I made I gave to my Mom. She liked the material.  I’ll be making another one. I have enough of that material to make another one. Winking smile

I wish I could find more material that has that metallic thread running through it. It looks good!

   That’s all for now.

Good Afternoon!

Last night I started quilting a book bag. A Tote. And today I finished it! After you see the material I used, you’ll know why I call it my Literary Bay. Smile

I followed Jenny Doan’s video on how to make a tote bag.

O.K., O.K.... I Know...

Yes, I know I have been absent from my blog lately.  I need to pick it up a bit.  I'm a bit down.  I always seem to get this way in the winter.  But I'll be up again later.

Right now I'm trying to figure out what I want to make next.
