Blackberry Pie For Michael...

... I was baking again tonight... This time the Blackberry Pie is for Micahel to take when he meets Kerstin's parents this weekend. I hope they like it.

... I'm also crocheting a Christmas Tree Skirt... Now I'm putting Red Bows on it.

Blackerry Cobbler... So Sweet...:-)

...Tonight I felt like using some of the Fresh Blackberries that Michael's girlfriend, Kerstin gave me. They are from her Mom's back yard... They are so sweet just plain with a little sugar on them.

...Now back to my crochet...;-) Just had to take a little time out to bake. I'm making a little blanket for Sissy to keep on our Family Room Sofa. She needs a new one. Then I'll be making some dog sweaters.

Shiny Clean Mustang...

Tonight I watched my husband wash our sons Mustang ... The look on his face spoke volumes. It's our sons car... but he remembers when he had his Mustang years ago. Look at this. Men and their big expensive toys...LOL

Last night we had our first freeze of the season. You can see the left side of our back yard is all thawed out since the sun is warming it. But the right side that the sun hasn't touched is still frosted. I was hoping to catch the SILVERY color it has... but this camera just isn't catching it.

Michael's Birthday Afghan...:-)

It's finally finished...:-) The afghan I made for Michael's birthday.

Here it is folded in half. I used Vanna's Choice in Black, Charcoal Grey & a Multi Black, Greys & a touch of white.

So now I get on with finishing other presents...

On the left you'll see Michael's birthday Cake.

And on the right is Michael & Kerstin scratching away at the Lottery Scratch Off's he got. We ate at the Hofbrauhaus. It was really nice!!!

The "S" Word...

... I'm watching the 11:00 news and the weather man said we MIGHT SEE A FEW SNOW FLAKES fall... Over this weekend... They won't stick of course... The ground is too warm. Apparently there is a SNOW / RAIN line that is coming down from Canada and then going right back up over the weekend. * It makes more sense when you watch it on the graph*



.....Just Dreaming Of a SNOWY umm. " Halloween??? " That doesn't sound right!!! The poor little Trick or Treater's would FREEZE!

O.K. Time to get back to reality....

Babysit & Crochet...Plus My New Car...:-)

...Think I can do both & still pay attention to what I'm doing? We'll see. I'll have to hurry up & get this afghan finished... Our son's birthday is only 5 days away... I just may have to give him a note saying his other present is still being worked on.

I'll write more later... we have a lot to do today...:-)

.....Finally, I have a picture of my new car...:-) You have seen some of the interior... now here is the exterior. They call this color Metallic Silver. I like it...:-)

Is it Child Labor or just Good Clean Fun? Why do they call it CLEAN FUN when you always end up dirty? That is my nephew Clay raking up pine needles... And I'm hard at work babysitting... Well, taking pictures.
