.....A couple of nights ago, I used Pammy Sue's recipe to make a BlueBerry Jam. Only changed one thing. I made it a tad thinner so we could use it for ICE CREAM TOPPING!!!
And here it is after it cooled off enough to put it in a jar...

ReplyDeleteI added some frozen O.J. concentrate... About T. of it to make it thinner for serving over ice cream and giving it even more flavor.
And why did I use O.J. concentrate??? I make a chilled BlueBerry Soup in the winter and there is O.J. concentrate in it. It has a great flavor!

I've been making refrigerator blueberry jam because I don't have a canner and I have a bunch in the freezer...we've had so many blueberries this year - and they're still going strong and now the figs are ripe...it's just such a beautiful bounty :-)

ReplyDeletewe have blackberries in the backyard. But you have to race the birds to get any...LOL ( And they always seem to win. ... So I wait for specials in produce and the produce stands at the side of the road...:-)
