AMAZING TALENT!!!

Enjoy... It's Beautiful!!!

You Must Read This First...:-)

You may have seen this before but well worth watchin again - she really istalented -

This is incredible! By the German invasion during World War II. Her talent, which admittedly is a strange one, is mesmeric to watch.

The images, projected onto a large screen, moved many in the audience to tears and she won the top prize of about $75,000.

She begins by creating a scene showing a couple sitting holding hands on a bench under a starry sky, but then warplanes appear and the happy scene is obliterated.

It is replaced by a woman's face crying, but then a baby arrives and the woman smiles again. Once again war returns and Miss Simonova throws the sand into chaos from which a young woman's face appears.

She quickly becomes an old widow, her face wrinkled and sad, before the image turns into a monument to an Unknown Soldier.
This outdoor scene becomes framed by a window as if the viewer is looking out on the monument from within a house.
a man standing outside, with his hands pressed against the glass, saying goodbye.

The Great Patriotic War, as it is called in Ukraine, resulted in one in four of the population being killed with eight to 11 million deaths out of a population of 42 million.

Kseniya Simonova says: "I find it difficult enough to create art using paper and pencils or paintbrushes, but using sand and fingers is beyond me. The art, especially when the war is used as the subject matter, even brings some audience members to tears. And there's surely no biggercompliment."

Please take time out to see this amazing piece of art. click on the link below -

Good Evening!!!

Here are the BOOK THONGS I have been making... ( Book Markers)

And how about a joke!!!

******************** The 2.99 Special ********************

We went to breakfast at a restaurant where the 'seniors' special' was two eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast for $2.99. 'Sounds good,' my wife said. 'But I don't want the eggs.' 'Then, I'll have to charge you three dollars and forty-nine cents because you're ordering a la carte,' the waitress warned her. 'You mean I'd have to pay for not taking the eggs?' my wife asked incredulously. 'YES!!' stated the waitress. 'I'll take the special then,' my wife said. 'How do you want your eggs?' the waitress asked.
'Raw and in the shell,' my wife replied. She took the two eggs home and baked a cake.
DON'T MESS WITH SENIORS!!! WE'VE been around the block more than once!!!

I got that from a friend of ours in California! He sends cute ones.

It's snowing again!!! I wonder how much we'll get this time?

I made a Book Thong today...LOL I'll have to post a picture of it tomorrow. ( It's a Book Marker ) And since I'm reading a lot... I thought I would make one.

But right now... my pillow is calling me to bed. I want to crawl in bed and listen to the rain. Helps me fall asleep.

Depressed and Crochet...

Good Evening!!!

...I'm still working on our snuggy. The yarn came the other day. I have been working on it for hours. It's getting depressing with nothing but double crochet.

It looks like we'll be getting a lot of rain starting tonight or overnight. Depressing weather. I'll probably end up reading or crocheting.

Did you see where that telethon called HOPE FOR HAITI raised 57 MILLION dollar? WOW... Raise money like that to pay off the national debt!!! :-)

I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!
